Parking: There is 2 hour parking along Parkdale Blvd NW between 34 St NW and the Extreme Bean café (3303 3 Ave NW).
Route Plan: We will meet along the bow river pathway across from the Extreme Bean café and Parkdale Blvd. We will bike west along the bow river pathway until we reach Angel’s café, in Edworthy park. It is about a 2 km bike. We can stop for a break at Angel’s café for a treat if you want (bring money) and then head across the bridge into Edworthy park for a play in the water or head into Edworthy park to the playground. Bring a lunch if you would like to stay longer at the picnic area. Then we will bike back along the pathway back to the cars.
Items to Bring:
- Layers of clothing in case the weather changes.
- Water for you and your children (if your child may separate from you and tag along with another family, ensure your child has their own backpack with water and a small snack)
- Water toys to play in the water and dirt: shovels, pails, digging toys, trucks, you name it.
- Trail is chariot, stroller, and bike friendly
